this 135mm f/2.8 is designed for Canon EF-mount DSLR cameras. Its short telephoto focal length makes it ideally suited for portraiture applications, and the fast f/2.8 maximum aperture affords extensive control over depth of field and also supports working in difficult lighting conditions. An HD Super Multi-Coating has also been applied to individual elements in order to minimize flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color neutrality when shooting in bright or backlit situations. Additionally, the manual focus design offers precise control over focusing position and a six-blade diaphragm contributes to a pleasing bokeh quality to further enhance shallow depth of field images.

Note: if you need telephoto photography function then make sure its within 10m-30m,this is best shooting distance,please note.if you need shoot too far away such as shooting the moon then please place an order for 420-800mm super telephoto lens. For long distance object shooting and i suggest you to take Super telephoto lens 420-800mm telephoto lens or 650-1300mm,it can bring you very good picture for shooting long distance object.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES

FULL MANUAL LENS, no electric contacts→no auto focus→no image stabilization, require more exprerience with Manual Exposure.

Must set camera to M mode(check the picture above) to use this lens, some may require to set “shutter release: no lens“ ON in camera menu.
Camera will not display the aperture value, must set manually on lens body.

No matter how good autofocus is, there are still times when manual focus is the better shooting option. When used in the right scenario, it gives a photographer more control over the photo, and in some cases, achieves effects that aren’t otherwise possible in autofocus mode.
